Michael Bradley joined his school friend’s group in Derry in the Summer of 1974. They had two guitars and no singer. Four years later the Undertones recorded ‘Teenage Kicks’ and became one of the UK’s most fondly remembered bands of the post punk era.
Michael works as a radio producer at BBC Radio Foyle and has managed to remain the band’s bass player since 1974.
In 2016 he wrote a book about his memories of The Undertones, covering the years from 1974 to 1983. Michael will join us to discuss ‘My Life As An Undertone’ on Saturday 11th June from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
